Very often we have clients that are looking for guaranteed amounts of traffic. These sites are usually those that are very focused on things like high dollar sales or specialty campaigns for specific events. This type of internet marketing usually cannot be done by our standard search engine marketing, but requires a little more of a push through paid advertising plans.
There are many search engines that require you to pay for the top positions. These positions are usually labeled as “Sponsored Listings” on the search engines, and are the first 2 to 5 sites that are listed. They are also very often designated by colored (blue or green) boxes down the right side of a search engine. To get into these spots one must start a Pay-Per-Click campaign.
Pay-Per-Click is very much as it sounds. It means that you will pay a set amount of money every time some clicks on your link. Usually you “bid” for the spots or quantity of clicks, and can set a set limit on how much you will spend. You would choose a “word” or a “phrase” and bid against other people and sites for the top positions.
Often these types of campaigns can be done for very little money depending on the competition for a word, a set of words, or a specific demographic. Words that get more traffic and are more commonly used and/or a larger demographic will obviously cost more. So, it greatly depends on your field of business as to whether this will be expensive or cheap to accomplish.
The main Pay-Per-Click networks are:
- Facebook Ads
- Google AdWords
What do we do? We run your campaign for you. We look up the keywords you might want to use, and then make suggestions. We help you set up your account, and make sure everything is put together the way you want. And then, we track the traffic and cost of running your campaign for you.
- Setup: approximately $300 to setup your account and get your initial ads running.
- Campaign: $125 per month (or 10% of bidding, whichever is higher) to run your campaign.
- Bidding: The amount you decide to pay towards “bidding” on the appropriate network you choose. We can help you decide.
